OneSuite’s Task Templates feature simplifies your project management by eliminating the repetitive process of creating similar tasks or projects from scratch. With task templates, you can streamline your workflow and save valuable time. Here’s how you can leverage this feature:
Accessing Task Templates: #
Navigate to the “Projects” section in your OneSuite interface. Here, you’ll manage all aspects of your projects, including task templates.
Creating a Task Template: #
Initiate Template Creation: Click on the “Task Templates” option within your project settings to start creating a new template.
Template Details: Enter a unique “Template Name” to easily identify this template for future use.
Task Details: Provide a “Task Name” that describes the primary task for this template.
Adding subtasks: Add any subtasks associated with the main task. Each subtask can be given a specific name and description to clarify its purpose.
Reordering Subtasks: Organize the subtasks in your desired sequence by dragging and dropping them into the appropriate order. This ensures that tasks are completed in the correct sequence when the template is applied.
Saving the Template:
Once all details are entered, click the “Save” button to store your task template. Your template will now be available for future use across similar projects.
Applying Task Templates to Projects: #
Select Template: When creating a new project or task, click on the three dots “Import Tasks from Templates” option.
Choose Template: From the list of saved templates, select the one that fits your current project needs.
Template Integration: The selected template, along with its tasks and subtasks, will automatically populate in your project’s Kanban or List view, ready for immediate use.
Managing Task Templates: #
Editing Templates: You can edit existing templates to update task names, add or remove subtasks, or change the order of subtasks.
Deleting Templates: Remove templates that are no longer needed to keep your template list organized and relevant.
