What’s New in OneSuite: Everything We Released in April — Plus What’s Coming Next
If you’ve been with OneSuite for a while, you know our goal has always been the same: give agencies, freelancers, and service teams one place to run their entire client operation. April was one of our most productive months yet — and the updates we shipped this month bring that vision significantly closer to reality.
This month, we focused on four core areas: Email Inbox, Time Tracking & Timesheets, Invoicing, and CRM & Project improvements. Each update was built around real feedback from real teams who were tired of switching tools, losing context, and spending too much time on admin work.
Here’s everything that shipped in April — and a peek at what’s on the way in May.

New in Time Tracking & Timesheets
Every billable hour should be easy to track, review, approve, and invoice.
For service teams, time is the real product. But tracking it often gets messy with spreadsheets, forgotten hours, and manual billing. That is why we added Time Tracking & Timesheets in OneSuite this April.
Track Time Inside OneSuite
You can now start a timer directly from OneSuite or inside a project task. Each time entry stays connected to the right task, project, and collaborator.
You can add work notes, set hourly rates, and mark time as billable or non-billable. The timer also supports pause, reset, discard, and save.
Manage Timesheets in One Place
The Timesheet module gives you one clean view of all logged hours across projects and team members.
Managers can review entries, check billable time, update status, and prepare hours for billing without chasing updates from everyone.
Approve Before Billing
Team members can submit timesheets for approval. Managers can approve them or request changes before anything becomes billable.
Only approved, billable, and non-invoiced entries can move forward.
Create Invoices from Approved Hours
Once hours are approved, you can create invoices by selecting the project and date range.
OneSuite pulls eligible entries, groups them by task, calculates totals, and gives you a clear invoice preview. No manual spreadsheet work needed.

New in Email Inbox
Your client conversations now stay closer to the actual work.
For most agencies, email is where client decisions, updates, and follow-ups happen. But when emails live outside your CRM and projects, context gets lost fast. That is why OneSuite now brings Gmail and Microsoft Outlook directly into your workspace.
Connect Gmail or Outlook
You can connect Gmail or Microsoft Outlook from the Email Inbox integration area.
Gmail users can connect their account using an App Password. Outlook users can connect through Microsoft sign-in and can also import recent contacts into OneSuite CRM.
This makes setup simple and keeps your client data more organized from the start.
Send and Receive Emails from CRM Records
Once connected, each People, Company, and Client record gets its own Email tab.
You can send emails, choose the connected account, add CC recipients, use dynamic fields, and view the full email history from the same CRM record.
When a client replies, the message appears inside their record automatically. No copy-pasting. No searching old threads.
Use Email Templates
For repeated emails like onboarding, updates, follow-ups, and invoice reminders, you can now create reusable email templates.
Templates can include dynamic fields, so client details are added automatically when you send the email.
This helps your team reply faster while keeping messages consistent.

Improved Invoice Experience
We also made several important improvements to the invoice system in OneSuite. The goal was simple: make invoice creation, tracking, and follow-up smoother from start to finish.
- Draft Invoices: You can now save invoices as drafts before sending them. This gives your team time to review, edit, and finalize invoices properly.
- Real-Time Invoice Status: Invoice status is now easier to track with Sent and Viewed updates. You can see whether an invoice has been sent or opened by the client.
- Invoice Reminders: Payment follow-ups are now easier to manage with invoice reminders, helping you stay on top of unpaid invoices.
- Smoother Create and Update Flow: Creating and editing invoices now feels more seamless, with fewer steps and a cleaner workflow.
- UI/UX Improvements: The invoice area has been improved with a cleaner interface, better layout, and a smoother overall experience.
More OneSuite Improvements You’ll Notice
April also included a few small but useful improvements to make OneSuite smoother for daily work.
- Improved Project Experience: Projects are now easier to navigate and manage.
- Better Task Workflow: Teams can manage tasks and progress more smoothly.
- Improved Collaborator Experience: Collaborators get better visibility inside projects.
- Performance and Usability Improvements: Small improvements were added to make the platform faster and cleaner.
What’s Coming in May
April was a big month for OneSuite, and May is already looking exciting. Here are a few updates we are working on next.
